Dear Momauguin Families,

Thank you to all the families who have updated their information as well as updated/added at least one emergency contact in Powerschool. We have updated all the information that has been submitted so far.

This week all classes will be engaging in class meetings, restorative circles or Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) lessons designed to spark discussions about choices, consequences and better solutions to common challenging behaviors that surface in elementary school settings. Please ask your child about these discussions to reinforce positive behaviors in school, as well as in the community.

Just a reminder- our PTO Meeting will be held in-person at East Haven High School this Wednesday at 6 pm. Please consider joining the PTO and attending meetings. If you are unable to make it, a Zoom link will be sent to all families 30 minutes prior to the start time. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

11/4/25 NO SCHOOL for Students- Election Day- Staff Professional Development

Fire Drill This Tuesday

Due to a the beginning of year assessment schedule, the September Fire Drill has been postponed. We will hold the drill this Friday, September 19th, weather permitting. Prior to the drill, students will review exit routes and safety protocols with their teachers. All safety drills are announced in advance to reduce anxiety and to help students practice procedures in a calm, prepared manner.

Family Resource Center

The East Haven Family Resource Center is based out of Momauguin Elementary School and Overbrook Early Learning Center.

The Family Resource Center offers:

Free diapers through our Diaper Bank
Free food at our biweekly Mobile Food Share
Parenting support and early intervention through resources, referrals, and our home visitation program with developmental screenings
Parent workshops twice a month
Play and Learn groups for children not yet enrolled in school

The mission of the Family Resource Center is to support families on their parenting journey and make sure every child has access to the resources they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

School Based Health Center: Physicals for Sports

School-Based Health Center is pleased to announce the introduction of a flat rate of $40 for sports physicals. During the months of August and September, students enrolled in School-Based medical services are eligible for sports physicals at this reduced cost. Parents/Guardians can call (475) 231-6978 to schedule an appointment, today!

Breakfast and Lunch are FREE for all EHPS Students

All students who attend East Haven Public Schools are eligible to receive a free healthy breakfast and a free nutritious lunch at school everyday during the school year through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Click Here for the monthly menu.
