Dear Momauguin Families,

Teacher Appreciation Week was a tremendous success thanks to the thoughtful generosity and support of the Momauguin School PTO and the wonderful families of our Momauguin students. Your kindness, donations, and expressions of appreciation helped make our staff feel truly valued and celebrated throughout the week. We are so grateful for the strong partnership between home and school and for the many ways you continue to support our school community.

This coming week, students will continue with end-of-year assessments. Please help your child do their best by ensuring they arrive to school on time, well rested, and ready to learn each day.

This Friday, we will conduct an Evacuation Drill in collaboration with the East Haven Police and Fire Departments. Students will walk as a class to our designated rally point, and teachers will review safety procedures throughout the week in an age-appropriate and reassuring manner.

Let's Come Together to Help Our Neighbors with Stuff-A-Bus

The event is Saturday, May 30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Haven Stop & Shop, 370 Hemingway Ave. Support the East Haven Food Pantry and Kindness 4 Kids. Many local families rely on the East Haven Food Pantry and Kindness 4 Kids. Your donation makes a big difference! Donate non-perishable food items and essentials. Don't miss this fun event for the whole family on Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Haven High School. The suggested family donation is $10. There is a K-9 demo at 12 p.m. as well as emergency vehicles, cionstruction trucks and so much more!

East Haven Family Meals are every Wednesday at the East Haven Senior Center, 91 Taylor Avenue.

Dine-in meals are for families with children only. Takeout meals are available for all. Enjoy crafts with the Hagaman Library.

MTI's Broadway Junior Revue of Pure Imagination is open to kids entering grade 4 through age 18.

WHEN: Auditions are June 5th 6:30-7:45 p.m. OR 7:45 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and June 7th 12:30-1:45 p.m. OR 1:45 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

WHERE: Hays School, 1 Maple Street, East Haven

HOW TO PREPARE: Kids should prepare one of the songs available on the website: easthavenarts.com. There will also be a dance audition.

HOW TO PREPARE: Everyone should prepare to sing a-capella approximately 30-60 seconds of a musical theater song of their choice. There will also be a dance audition and cold reading where auditioners are given a chance to read from the script.

East Haven Adult Education Programs for Spring & Beyond

East Haven Adult Education is offering a high school completion, ESL Citizenship program free to East Haven residents. Enrichment classes are also availalbe. Scan the QR codes for the course catalog and to register for Spring 2026 programs.

Students are welcome to enter school between 8:45 and 9 a.m.

After 9 a.m., you must park and accompany your child to the office.

A photo ID will be required to enter the school building.
