Dear families,
The first two days of school have been fantastic! Our students are settling in beautifully as they learn new routines and procedures, meet their teachers and staff, and get to know their classmates. There has been so much excitement and positive energy throughout the building, and we are off to a wonderful start!
Arrival & Dismissal
As expected, arrival and dismissal have taken a little longer than usual as we work through the details of each student's transportation plan. Thank you for your patience and understanding. As everyone becomes more familiar with the routines, we expect these processes to become much more efficient.
We encourage families to consider utilizing bus transportation whenever possible. Interestingly, most students who rode the bus arrived home earlier than students who were picked up as car riders. The buses are moving efficiently, and we anticipate dismissal times will continue to improve.
Important Car Rider Safety Reminder For the safety of all of our students:
- Parents/guardians must remain in their vehicles while using the car rider drop-off and pick-up line.
- Please do not park and walk your child across the parking lot. Students crossing through the parking lot creates a significant safety concern.
- If there will be a change to your child's dismissal routine, please contact the main office by 2:45 p.m.
- For safety reasons, we do not allow parent/guardian pickups from the office between 3:00–3:15 p.m. during dismissal. Only true emergencies will be accommodated during this time.
Thank you for helping us keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for everyone!
We are truly partners in your child's education, and we value the relationship we have with our families. Please feel free to reach out at any time if you have questions, concerns, or something you'd like to discuss. Open communication helps us better support your child.
Thank you for your patience, partnership, and support as we begin this new school year.
Together, we will make this our best year yet!
In partnership,
