Family Newsletter

October 4, 2026
Dear Momauguin Families,

We hope you had a wonderful weekend! As we begin a new week, we want to share a few important reminders and upcoming events. For the safety of our students and staff, please have your child(ren) remain in the car during morning drop-off. Staff members are not on duty until we begin unloading students at 8:45 a.m. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and orderly arrival each morning.

We are excited for our Annual PTO Walkathon on Tuesday, October 6th! We are looking forward to a fun and memorable day for our students and school community. Please remember that, in order for students to be eligible for prizes, Student Sponsor Sheets and all sponsor funds must be returned by October 6th. Thank you for supporting our PTO and all they do to provide wonderful opportunities and experiences for our students.

Looking ahead, School Pictures will be held on Thursday, October 15th. More information and order forms will be sent home soon, so please be on the lookout!

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. We appreciate all that you do to help our students have a safe, successful, and joyful school experience. Have a wonderful week!

In partnership,

Julie Church
Principal, Momauguin Elementary School

SBHC Flyer

Beginning on the first day of school, families will have access to Virtual Sick Visits for students enrolled in SBHC.

We are excited to share a new service that Community Health Center, Inc. will be piloting at Momauguin School through the School-Based Health Care (SBHC) program.

Beginning on the first day of school, families will have access to Virtual Sick Visits for students enrolled in SBHC.

The goal of this pilot is to provide families with another convenient option when their child is experiencing a minor illness or symptom and they need timely guidance on whether their child can return to school, needs additional care, or can be safely managed at home.

Parents will be able to self-schedule a virtual appointment using the QR code or scheduling information included on the above flyer. Virtual visits can support concerns such as:
  • Fever or sore throat
  • Cough or cold symptoms
  • Pink eye
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Rash
  • Headache

During the virtual visit, the medical team can provide home-care guidance, return-to-school recommendations, prescriptions when clinically appropriate, and school excuse documentation.

Please consider enrolling your child in School Based Health Care.
