Dear Momauguin Families,

As we enter Thanksgiving week, I want to extend my gratitude for your partnership and support throughout the first trimester of the 2025-2026 school year. Conferences will be held on Monday and Tuesday this week. These meetings are an essential part of supporting each child’s success. The staff looks forward to sharing insights, celebrating student strengths, discussing progress, and identifying areas where additional support may be helpful.

When home and school work together, students benefit.

We appreciate your partnership and look forward to these valuable conversations. You can expect report cards in a few weeks. They will be mailed out on December 8th.

Reminder-there is no school on Wednesday.

I hope you enjoy this extended break with your family and friends.

EARLY DISMISSAL MONDAY AND TUESDAY

There is an EARLY DISMISSAL on Monday and Tuesday for Conferences. THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL for staff and students on Wednesday.

Momauguin School PTO BINGO was a huge success! We had approximately 100 students and family members in attendance for a night of fun. Thank you to the PTO for hosting this wonderful family event!

Family Resource Center

The East Haven Family Resource Center is based out of Momauguin Elementary School and Overbrook Early Learning Center.

The Family Resource Center offers:

Free diapers through our Diaper Bank
Free food at our biweekly Mobile Food Share
Parenting support and early intervention through resources, referrals, and our home visitation program with developmental screenings
Parent workshops twice a month
Play and Learn groups for children not yet enrolled in school

The mission of the Family Resource Center is to support families on their parenting journey and make sure every child has access to the resources they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

Breakfast and Lunch are FREE for all EHPS Students

All students who attend East Haven Public Schools are eligible to receive a free healthy breakfast and a free nutritious lunch at school everyday during the school year through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Click Here for the monthly menu.
